I’m a modern girl with an old fashioned name. I was named after two of my grandmothers and I treasure that connection to my matriarchal line. To me, a quilt is a link to ancestors who practiced and refined this melding of art and utility. It’s also a tangible, permanent expression of beauty, creativity and love. In a world where so many things are disposable and transitory, I find purpose and fulfillment in creating something that lasts.

I caught the quilting bug in 2010 and began longarming professionally in 2016. I’ve developed my skills at longarming classes in Europe and in the United States. I’ve been blessed to build friendships with expert quilters from all over, including Poland, England and Germany.
